A well coloured, clearly engraved example. The map has the number 38 in brackets in the top left hand corner of the border indicating the second issue in the same year. The ‘remarkable antiquities’ mentioned above include Saxon coins, a Janus head and a view of the west side of London Bridge. The map also shows the underground passage of the River Molesey and copper mills and a powder mill on the River Wandle. A little dusting to the edges and two small wormholes to the lower margin otherwise good.
